ASIC returns to law enforcement by wading into Rex's corporate and political skirmish

After years of missing in action, the corporate regulator appears to slowly be getting on to the front foot when it comes to law enforcement.

In accusing the collapsed airline Regional Express and four of its directors of misleading investors in the months leading up to its collapse, the Australian Securities and Investment Commission has waded into a corporate and political skirmish that promises to get ugly.
