Unlikely DIY supply transforms into an $80 dupe of a $1500 table

A DIYer has recreated the look of an expensive designer table for a tiny fraction of the price by using PVC pipes.

Kelsey Mackall showed how she used a USD$999 ($1534 AUD) piece as inspiration to make a fluted coffee table in an Instagram reel.

"I made it for just $50 ($76.84 AUD) in PVC pipe! It's such a statement piece and was an incredibly easy project. Jigging the router to cut a perfect circle was the hardest part. I love the power of DIY," she captioned the post.
