UTS director of entrepreneurship Murray Hurps on the power of peer learning

For the director of entrepreneurship at UTS, Murray Hurps, his journey into the world of startups began when he was just 16 years old.

At that ripe age he founded ad-blocking startup AdMuncher, which over more than a decade grew to a peak of 100 million users.

Now, he’s best known for his role at UTS, a job that lets him “inspire and support the pursuit of technology-enabled entrepreneurship”, supporting 570 active startups currently - the largest community of student-founded startups in Australia.
